Health & Safety Policy
L Burridge Ltd / T/A ecosense Limited is committed to carrying out all activities to the highest standards of health and safety — whether on our premises or on client sites.
We want everyone to remain safe and healthy, whether they are employees, client staff, or visitors.
As stated in the Health & Safety Act 1974, everyone has a responsibility to protect their own health and safety, as well as that of others.
This handbook is a guide to our health & safety rules and emergency procedures. It is not exhaustive. For full details, please refer to the ecosense Health & Safety Manual or speak to your Line Manager or the Health & Safety Department.
Health & Safety Policy
As Director of ecosense, I accept ultimate responsibility for the health, safety, and welfare of all employees — whether on ecosense property or working on client sites.
We are committed to:
-
Providing safe workplaces and systems of work, as far as is reasonably practicable.
-
Ensuring visitors, contractors, and others are not put at risk by our activities.
-
Supplying clear information, training, and supervision to support safety.
Managers are responsible for implementing health & safety policies, monitoring hazards, and acting quickly to address risks. A full Health & Safety Manual is reviewed annually and issued to all Regional, Area, and Contract Managers.
All employees must take reasonable care of their own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by their work.
Signed:
Matthew Burridge
Director
